Sunday 22nd June 2025:
Quiz, Cream Tea (and AGM!)
For our June Meeting we will be holding a quiz afternoon. There will be a number of rounds with some general knowledge questions but, of course, a number relating to our heroes - Gilbert and Sullivan.
This will be followed by a delicious cream tea with scones, jam, tea and coffee.
The afternoon will conclude with the Society's AGM. Guests will be allowed to stay for the AGM but only Society members will be able to vote on any issues raised.
The event has an entry fee of £8 for both Society members and guests.
Place: Adastra Hall, Hassocks, BN6 8QH
Time: 2.45pm
Tickets: £8 for Society members and guests.

Sunday 28th September 2025:
The Mikado
On Sunday 28th September, White Knight will join us to perform The Mikado, a semi-staged production with professional principals and the chorus made up of members of the audience – a good opportunity to have a fun “sing-a-long”!
Scores or libretti will be available for those that want to join the singing.
White Knight perform on behalf of various charities so they will be passing their fee on to a worthy cause.
The soloists performing will be listed here as soon as they are confirmed, so check back regularly.

Sunday 30th November 2025:
Richard Suart: A Chatter of Patter
Our Christmas event for 2025 will be held on Sunday 30th November. We have been lucky to secure Richard Suart, one of our Vice Presidents, to visit us and talk about his long and varied life performing G&S and the talk will be illustrated with recordings of the roles he has played (in fact, Richard has now performed in all the G&S canon!)
Richard did actually give this presentation to our colleagues at Godalming Operatic Society a short time ago but it clashed with our last event so this is an excellent opportunity to catch it.
Place: Adastra Hall, Hassocks, BN6 8QH
Time: 2.45pm
Tickets: £8 for Society members / £14 for non Society members and Facebook members. Refreshments available.
