"Come and Sing HMS Pinafore"

What a splendid afternoon we had on Sunday, 14th July with a scratch performance of , something we haven't tried before as a Society and it worked out very well.HMS Pinafore

Audience members made the most of their opportunity to sing along as Victorian sailors, sisters, cousins and aunts of Sir Joseph Porter, supporting the pre selected principals:

Laurence Leng played Sir Joseph Porter K.C.B. and Sylvia Nixon was Buttercup.   Bill Colbourne took the part of Captain Corcoran and Rob Carpenter that of  Ralph Rackstraw. Susan Fleet sang the role of Josephine, Hebe was played by Sally Walker and Richard Nixon was Dick Deadeye.  

And joining us from Godalming Operatic Society:

Richard Baker covered the part of  Bob Beckett and Lee Power was Bill Bobstay.
