Derek Oldham M.O









Derek Oldham reigned supreme in the 1920s as a matinee idol tenor in London's West End and eventually retired as an actor in the 1970s !

Featuring music from Ivor Novello ,Franz Lehar and great productions such The Vagabond King, Rose Marie, White Horse Inn, and not forgetting The Gilbert and Sullivan seasons at the Savoy Theatre and America.

With very rare and unpublished photographs of Derek, on and off stage, also of his homes, and Mrs Derek Oldham, West End Star Winnie Melville shown on the big screen.

An afternoon of happiness, but also tinged with drama, sadness and mystery.

The event will be presented by Melvyn Tarran who will unveil the story, aided and abetted by Edwin Cowley.
